Overview
For this project, I have planned and organised pinball tournaments across Brisbane and Gold Coast for women and non-binary players since 2024. In 2025, I began organising and hosting the monthly Belles & Chimes pinball events at Netherworld in Fortitude Valley for players identifying as women and non-binary players. My responsibilities include submitting events to the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA), tournament administration and marketing on Facebook.
Outcome - Developed understanding and applied knowledge on effectively planning and administrating events. I learnt new strategies to effectively pitch and communicate my ideas to initiate women's events within Australia. I also established understanding for the importance of networking and marketing on community pages to increase the participation of female pinball players in women's tournaments across Australia.
