Overview
This project was originally started alongside my father, with an aim to host one of the largest pinball weekend events in Australia, the Australian Pinball Open in 2023, using the same format as one of the most successful international pinball events in the US. We have continued to host this event every year after, with myself taking over for organising and managing the event for the upcoming event for 2025.
Outcomes - Ability to learn and adopt new skills in budgeting and managing a committee to organise a large scale event. Developed communication skills to acquire and approach key stakeholders and companies professionally which are required to successfully run the event, this includes; sponsors, merchandise designers and printing companies, venues, pinball movers, donators, volunteers and the general pinball community.
